Due to its close ties to Fleet Feet Sports, SRDC has intimate knowledge of the specialty retail market and provides sellers with a reliable, knowledgeable and well financed buyer. SRDC will provide new ownership for underperforming stores, keep strong stores open in good markets and will create a defined pathway to store ownership for outstanding retail employees.

SRDC offers ownership opportunities to talented, energetic and motivated employees. Employees often lack the financial resources to open a new store or to buy an existing store. SRDC is a vehicle towards store ownership. Employees hired to run a SRDC store are called Equity Operators. An Equity Operator performs the same role as an owner with corresponding authority and responsibilities. With one exception, all current Equity Operators worked in a Fleet Feet store prior to their promotion to Equity Operator. In most cases, Equity Operators will purchase the store from SRDC within five years.
